Power. Raw power, vocally, physically, mentally. The scale of George's power defies logic and obviates defense. The power of his mind, of his character, of his being: It is this incredible source of power from whence his tremendous voice is born. Drop your defenses, and it will consume you. Embrace it, and it will push you to a greater state of being. Reach for it, because you want it, because its beauty is so seductive that you know you cannot live without it. That is true power -- that is George.

George can sound like so many different people, make so many different sounds, that even pinning him down to a voice part is difficult. George's rich baritone is the key element of Hookslide's sound. When Jon is needed elsewhere, George drops down into his bass range and provides a rock solid foundation. And when George steps up to sing lead on Hookslide's most vocally demanding songs (Dream On, Disco Inferno), you will feel the power of his voice tear through your bones and melt your heart(Don't You Forget About Me, Try a Little Tenderness). And just when you think you've heard it all, he'll blow you away by nailing the highest lines any Hookslider sings with a screaming, face-peeling countertenor (Signed, Sealed, Delivered).

Hookslide relies on George's power, vocally, physically and mentally. He literally provides power to the band in his role as Hookslide's resident sound engineer. His strong stage presence and personality push the band to excellence and allow no room for excuses.

Raw power. Come experience it at Hookslide's next performance.
