Don't know if you guys remember me, we met briefly on Sunday at America Sings. I was the tenor soloist for the Ocean View High School Seahawk Singers. I think we were the last group you guys saw before leaving, because I didn't see any of you afterwards. You all seemed to be enjoying the performance alot though, and I'm glad that me and the rest of the chorus were able to accomplish that. I bought the CDs they had available at the festival and I have to once more say that you guys are great. Hopefully we'll meet again in the future. I attended your show in Dickson,TN. I am a teacher and have helped some with our school music program. I was very impressed with your group. It was very uplifting to hear real music. Jon was totally awesome with the beats/sounds that is is able to do. By the way Jon, my husband thought you resembled Dan Akroyd. Please take this as a compliment. Paul was thought to resemble Bryan Adams in looks not voice. I personally felt you sounded better than Bryan Adams. George, regardless of the appeal that Mayank has to some, I felt that your presence on the stage was much more appealing. Mayank has a great voice. I really enjoyed the song by Seal. Well, I'll get off of hear so that you can read other's comments. One more tidbit, your music appealed to many age groups, which is very impressive in today's music industry. hey guys just wanted to say thanks again for coming, although we were in fact tired after doing five shows we were excited to see you and are sorry we didn't get "into" your show more than we did. When and if (better be when) you come again we hope to have a much larger crowd for you.you had better have a new cd made by that time too. Jon it was great talking to you at denny's even though it took five hours to get a bowl of grapes I mean "fruit". oh and Paul you can borrow my heels any time you need to feel a bit taller. For those reading this who have never seen "the band"... Hookslide are easily the most driven a cappella group I've seen in a long time. How many other a cappella groups have almost all originals on their FIRST CD???? (And buy the CD; it's really impressive!)

Wish I could get more of my east bay folks across to see you guys... they don't know what they're missing!

And to answer the question re: the length of Mayank's hair: Looks much better short than I thought it would. ;)
